Herb Stevens Have no idea how KRM does it. Somehow, each track is never-ending and over too quickly. Favorite track: Glisten.

Dano Williams Pure moods. Epic landscapes. I could imagine this soundtracking the new Dune.

mehmetk Somehow, KMart keeps churning out these ambient records every few months and they all sound both brilliant and diverse. This one? Actually mellow and lovely without being new-agey. The man knows his trade and we need but to trust him unconditionally.

Tristan Bath KRM's refined his ambient craft to new heights on this one, sounding his most peaceful to date. These are more architectural works than melodic pieces, surrounding you like zen garden…and you only wish they could go on even longer. Put this one on a loop and drift off, stay in, or go walking - the world will seem a warmer place. Thanks Kev!! Favorite track: Waveshaper.

about

Arguably the most beautifully immersive release yet from Kevin RIchard Martin. From underwater gamelans to liquified drone metallics, via submerged orchestras and vertical ambience, the mood remains lush, warm and eternal, as infinite loops fuse with perpetually shapeshifting micro melodies. Indeed the low pass filters are worked hard, as the spirit of dub transmits from the bottom of this oceanic sound.

At times, the album resembles Gavin Bryars re-scoring Dylan Carlson's Earth, or Sunn 0))) remixed by GAS man Wolfgang Voigt at his most smudged and dilated. But Martin's midas touch is instantly recognisable, as he continuously crafts tone and colour. He has let light in emphatically on 'Melting Point', but deceptively/ironicaly, its no less heavy. Distant bells and slow motion riffs permeate mind and body, with no focul point in earshot, as the expansive textures provide addictive ear candy throughout this bewitchingly slow internal voyage.

I pressed start and a week later i dont feel the need to press stop. Repetitions on repeat. Utterly enchanting.
